back to Cali

9 months. From LA to LA.
Stops in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, India, France, & Spain.
I started pale, scared, anxious, uncertain, and slightly unhappy with my position in life.
I ended pale, confident, relaxed, secure, happy.
You can see it.
I know I just belittled an unsuspecting Italian man for his narcissism, but... well... here are 176 pictures of ME:

Fake video. I know because your beard didn't grow.

Oh, I adore this TOO much. Makes me want to travel around the world like right now just for the awesome makeover.

Congratulations on a beautiful, wondrous journey.
The good news is that while you were gone, they widened the 405.

Aw thanks Leo! Marcel, I definitely did without a lot of beauty essentials during the trip, but one thing I allowed myself to do was shave my beard every day.
And yes, I really do recommend a year off just for makeover purposes. Although, I am in advertising so I wouldn't really trust my before and afters. Hey, Glasgowdick... that's a lie. And Mo-dogg, give me a hint.... something about people who take too many pictures of themselves?

I'm sorry, girl, but we HAVE to meet. You're in L.A. I'm (sort of) in L.A. (O.C., actually). You've traveled the world. I've traveled the world. You've been hit on by sleezy Italian men and (clearly) LOVED India. Ditto. We're both daughters of gay dads. I'm sorry, but it's in the stars. Let's do this thing.
